From Opera Stage to Boardroom

Ben Jankowitsch: Opera Singer Turned Executive Voice Coach

Hi, I’m Ben.

I spent more than 7 years performing with some of Vienna’s leading opera ensembles, including Philharmonia Chor Wien, Wiener Volksoper, Wiener Kammerchor, and Wiener Singakademie.

I have performed on stages from the Salzburg Festival to the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris and the Grand Théâtre de Genève.

On those stages, I learned something most people are never taught: how to use breath as a performance tool.

In opera, if your breath fails, your voice follows. The stakes are immediate. There is no second take.

Over time, I realized that the same principles apply far beyond the stage. In boardrooms, investor pitches, leadership meetings, and media appearances, people face the same core challenge performers do: high-pressure moments where your voice, breath, body, and presence determine whether people listen or tune out.

As an opera singer turned executive voice coach, I now help leaders apply the same principles of breath, voice, body, and presence to high-stakes business communication.
